InsideNGO 2014 Annual Member Conference

The annual InsideNGO Conference is right around the corner, and we couldn’t be more excited to exhibit again this year.  We’ll be showcasing our flagship nonprofit accounting software solution for NGOs, Serenic Navigator Enterprise, which continues to gain notoriety among InsideNGO members for its unique functionality designed for global organizations.

We look forward to seeing our long-time customers, as well as meeting new folks doing praiseworthy work around the world.  There’s a few times at this year’s conference where we can catch up:

  • Swing by our booth (number 24) to try your luck at winning a lap-top bag or $150 Visa gift card.
  • Our Vice President of Sales, Chris Stevenson, will be participating as a panelist in the Roundtable, “Financial System RFPs: Content Considerations” for those planning to prepare an RFP for a new financial management system this year. The Roundtable will be on Wednesday, July 30th from 9:30 am to 10:45 am in room 207A.

Nonprofit Cloud Accounting Solutions at CLA 2014

It was an absolute pleasure to once again attend the Christian Leadership Alliance Conference in Dallas, Texas. This year’s conference theme was to help you to achieve “Kingdom Outcomes” that will transform the lives of those you serve, and that is exactly what Serenic Navigator helps you do. Serenic Navigator allows you to focus on your mission and those you serve, not maintaining your system and spending hours on reports.

CLA 2014

It was especially nice this year to be able to engage all size and types of nonprofits knowing we have solutions to meet the needs of numerous organizations. In the past, I’ve had conversations with folks needing true fund accounting software, but they weren’t able to afford a system that easily tracks and reports according to their needs. No matter the nonprofit organization size, most still have multiple funds to track, as well as expenses and other costs by program, project, department or whatever the need may be. Read more…

AIRI 2013

The Annual meeting of the Association of Independent Research Institutions took place September 8-September 11 in Washington DC.  The Serenic Team enjoyed the chance to connect with long-time Serenic Navigator clients and share with other organizations the benefits of Serenic Navigator for their organization.   Of particular interest with this group of non-profit organizations is our AwardVision product, which facilitates an efficient, streamlined process for tracking grants from pre to post award.  David Cote, a Senior Solutions Engineer, presented AwardVision to a crowd on Monday evening at the show to many “oohs” and “ahhs” over the product’s remarkable capability and seamless integration with Serenic Navigator. 2013 Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference

This year’s Diocesan Fiscal Management Conference (DFMC) was held in Boston, MA.  Each year, the show proves to be a good opportunity for us to catch up with our beloved nonprofit clients and begin conversations with folks that we haven’t met before.

Our client breakfast on Monday morning was well attended, even though some of our clients were on a 4-6 hour time difference (special thank you to our clients in Alaska and Hawaii for attending!).  We took the opportunity to show some of the new enhancements to Serenic Navigator 2013 and answer questions about upgrading to the new version. InsideNGO Annual Conference

It was an absolute pleasure to once again be a part of InsideNGO Annual Conference held in Washington, DC.  This year I was joined in the booth by Chris Stevenson, VP Sales & Alliances and Ron Bean, East Region Channel Sales Manager. As always the InsideNGO staff members never miss a beat to make you feel welcome and have an overall great conference experience. From the good and healthy meal selections to the informative sessions you always walk away feeling fulfilled.  Even with the exhibitor space more than doubling in size, they maintained an intimate atmosphere for exhibitors to meet with prospects and clients. Marketing and Fundraising Conference

Earlier this month, Serenic was able to attend the 2013 Bridge Conference in Washington, D.C.  Geared toward nonprofit marketing and development professionals, the conference provided the venue for us to discuss our DonorVision solution for donor management, while providing attendees with fun giveaways such as screen cleaners, media stands, and lap-top bags. 2nd National Council of NGO’s Legal and Regulatory Workshop

Last month Serenic Software co-sponsored the 2nd National Council of NGO’s Legal and Regulatory workshop, in conjunction with our partner Techno Brain.  Held at the Silver Springs Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya, the event was attended by more than 40 delegates representing over 35 different international and local organizations. The event was to provide insight into the tabled legislation that will govern how organizations are registered, managed, and are able to conduct their objectives within Kenya and within the legal framework of the new Act. AICPA National Not-For-Profit Industry Conference

We recently visited Washington D.C. for the annual AICPA Conference for Nonprofits.  It was a wonderful conference with enthusiastic CPA firms and dedicated CEOs and CFOs all working to best serve the nonprofit industry.  Along with two and half packed days of sessions, attendees visited the exhibit hall during breaks and evening receptions.  During those times, we were able to speak with lots of folks about Serenic Navigator and catch up with those already using the system. Christian Leadership Alliance (CLA) Conference

Serenic Software was in sunny Anaheim, CA April 30 through May 2 for the annual Christian Leadership Alliance Conference.  Several nonprofit organizations attended and enjoyed over 100 workshops with sessions geared toward teaching members what it means to be an “Authentic Leader.”  Our team had the opportunity to meet staff members from organizations doing remarkable work around the world and anxious to learn how Serenic Navigator could help them to increase efficiencies in their financial management operations.  In addition to meeting new potential clients, we visited with several of our nonprofit accounting software clients who stopped by to say hello and learn about the newest release of Serenic Navigator.   These included the Salvation Army of East and Salvation Army of NY.
